The project

● UX/UI design

● B2B + B2C

TrainMe is a personal passion project I developed to solve the challenges of remote fitness coaching. My own experience as a client revealed a need for a holistic tool that could serve both trainers and trainees. The project's relevance grew exponentially with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, validating the need for a comprehensive remote fitness platform.

The process

My process began with extensive UX/UI research driven by my own experiences and a deep curiosity about the industry. I leveraged my network to conduct interviews and create questionnaires, gaining crucial insights from fitness professionals—including my own trainer. This research was foundational for designing an effective B2B service that addressed both trainer and client needs. The design process was highly iterative; I created multiple wireframe drafts and refined the final solution through continuous iteration and feedback.

My role

As the sole designer on this personal project, I had to be a self-starter and take full ownership of the entire process. This experience not only honed my design skills but also helped me develop strong communication and self-management skills. I took the initiative to build relationships and conduct interviews with fitness professionals and other athletes to gain valuable industry insights, all of which were essential for shaping the final product.
